About

Passionate about teaching yoga to all experience levels and ages, my classes are geared to those who seek to connect and reconnect with their body, breath and mind. I'm passionate about sharing the tools of yoga and finding new ways to make them accessible for those looking to begin, grow, or evolve their practice.

My teaching style is inspired by a wide range of personal experiences and influences, such as teachers, mentors, and philosophies. Inspiration comes from my students, nature, joy, music, love, pain, and struggle. Elements of Vinyasa, Hatha, Ivengar, Yin, Kundalini, and Katonah theory are incorporated into my classes to make them dynamic and engaging.

My classes range from slow flows to fast paced strength building vinyasa sequences, always emphasizing proper alignment and safety. I am known for varying up the pace, style, playlists, and theme of my sequences in order to keep each practice well rounded. In my classes, you can always expect lots of options, and choices to take your practice where you want it to go. I'm passionate about having my students connect with themselves, empowering their choice of movements, and giving them to autonomy to discern what is best for their own bodies.

Prior to relocating to Arizona, a typical week would include teaching mixed level adult classes at LA Fitness (Glendale, CA and Pasadena, CA), Intro to Yoga Philosophy at Larchmont Charter High School (East Los Angeles), and private adult sessions. I also facilitate corporate wellness events, functions, and lead employee team building classes. Currently you can find my classes offered online as I plant roots in a new city and take my time immersing into the local yoga community.

I earned my ®️E-RYT 200 and ®️YACEP through Yoga Alliance after completing my 200 hour and 2,000+ hours of Yoga instruction. I just recently completed my 300 hour training and am a registered ®️RYT 500 teacher, which is the highest level of yoga teacher training certification recognized by the Yoga Alliance.

Understanding the importance of maintaining that beginner mindset I continue to train, learn/relearn, and grow both my personal and professional practice through continuing education, retreats, and workshops.

I look forward to connecting with you and learning more about where you are on your Yoga journey.
